MS. DORIANNE 

Dorianne Thomas (Chicago, IL) began dancing at the age of three at Mayfair A cademy of Fine Arts. She trained extensively through programs including the Universal Dance Association’s Dance Camp, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Summer Intensive. In 2018, she studied contemporary dance and ballet abroad in Geneva, Switzerland. Dorianne holds a BFA in Dance with a Ballet emphasis from Webster University, where she performed works by Michael Uthoff, Nejla Yatkin, Alicia Graf Mack, Cleo Parker Robinson, Judine Somerville, and Antonio Douthit-Boyd. She began her professional career with South Chicago Dance Theatre and is now in her fourth season as a contracted performing artist with both Praize Productions Inc. and Joel Hall Dancers. Dorianne also teaches ballet and jazz across studio and afterschool communities in the Chicagoland area.
