We are committed to fostering an environment that celebrates diversity, ensures equal opportunities, and promotes inclusivity within the dance community.


Black Girls Dance®, founded by Erin Barnett in 2015, cultivates, empowers, and supports women in pursuing their dream of performing and grants scholarships to pre-professionals to train at the studio or institution of their choice.

At the Black Girls Dance, we are proud to offer a comprehensive schedule of different Programs perfect for dancers of all ages and abilities. From ballet to hip hop, modern to musical theatre, our Programs will challenge and inspire you to discover your inner artist.

  • Mini’s (ages 3 - 8) Combination Classes Level 1 - 4 half an hour of ballet and half an hour of tap

  • Juniors (age 8 - 12) Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pre-Pointe

  • Teens (13 - 18) Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Tumbling/Acro,

The Black Girls Dance® Scholarship is an annual scholarship given to young woman seeking to pursue a career in dance. This one-time award will provide this early career dancer with the financial help that will allow her to take her dance career to the next level.
